All delivered catering requires a minimum $80 spend plus the delivery fee.
Any catering picked up in store doesn't require any minimum spend.

OUR FOOD:

Are you able to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies?
Yes - We can happily cater to any dietary requirements. Please contact our Catering Manager to discuss you needs, catering@ripedeli.co.nz/ 09 360-6159. 

Customers with food allergies. Please be aware that our food may contain traces of or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat. While we take steps to minimise risk and safely handle the foods that contain potential allergens, please be advised that cross contamination may occur. Please contact our catering manager if you are planning on catering to anyone who is Anaphylactic to any allergens.

Does Ripe use Free Range eggs and meat?
Yes - We only use fresh seasonal produce and free-range poultry, pork and eggs. All our beef & lamb are grass-feed.

Will all products always be available if shown online?
As with all fresh produce, availability can fluctuate due to seasonality of goods and changing weather. Unfortunately this is beyond our control. If something is unavailable we will replace it with something similar

SUSTAINABILITY:

Are the serving platters, cups and utensils compostable? 
Yes - All packaging is compostable or recyclable.
All catering is delivered in boxes or on bamboo platters. You are welcome to bring your own platters and bowls to our Richmond Rd store for us to serve your catering on.

Do napkins, plates and utensils come with my order? 
Only with the 'Boxed Up To Go' menu, but you can order them at a small extra cost.

Can I order extra platters or utensils? 
Yes - You can order bamboo platters, plates, serviettes & cutlery in the "Utensils & Servingware" section in the Catering drop down menu.

Catering size salads come in boxes now. However we do have serving bowls available contact our catering department - please be kind to the planet and return all used bowls to Ripe Deli - or our driver is happy to pick them up for you! Email catering@ripedeli.co.nz to arrange pick up.

CAKES & SWEETS:

All orders are delivered to you boxed up, ready for you to plate up & serve.

How many people do your cakes & cheesecakes serve?

OUR CATERING MENUS:

Do you serve the same catering menu across all 5 of your Deli’s?
No - Our catering kitchen is based in our mothership store at 172 Richmond Rd Grey Lynn, all website catering orders are made there and are delivered all over the Auckland Metro Area.

Smales Farm: We have a PDF Catering Menu available online. This is a special smaller catering menu for Smales Farm Business Park, orders can be placed via email at smalescatering@ripedeli.co.nz 

The Heart Foundation: We have a PDF Catering Menu available online. This is a special smaller catering menu for the Heart Foundation Headquarters only.

How much notice do you need when placing an order?
All orders require 48 hours notice. If you have a catering emergency please ring or email us and we will do our best to help. 

What time will my order be delivered? 

General catering:
 is delivered Monday to Friday, you can pick a delivery time between 8:30am and 2:30pm in the cart section of the website, if a time slot you are after is unavailable it is because that slot is already full. Try picking a different time slot.

Freezer meals and Care Packages: will be delivered on the day you have chosen - some time between 10am and 2:30pm.
Deliveries over the weekend or outside of these hours will incur a courier charge, please contact our Catering manager for a quote catering@ripedeli.co.nz / 09 360-6159.

What are pickup and delivery fee minimums? 
There is no minimum spend for pickups. All deliveries require a $80 minimum spend plus delivery fee. 

Delivery Costs vary depending on your Postcode. Local delivery around Grey Lynn - $20. The CBD is $40. The Auckland Metro Area between $25 to $45 depending on your post code. For the wider Auckland Area delivery is $55 - If your Postcode is not listed please call us to find out if we are able can deliver to your area.

FROZEN MEALS:

Can frozen meals be cooked from frozen?
Yes - All frozen meals can be cooked from frozen, follow the instructions on the packaging.

How many people does a meal serve?
Serving sizes: Regular serves 2, Family serves 3-4

Can they be delivered?
Yes - Delivery is available Monday to Friday 12:30-3pm only
Once received place in freezer or in the refrigerator and consume within 24-48 hours. You can also place an order online or by phone and pick up them up from our stores. 

PAYMENT:

What are your accepted forms of payment?
1. Prepaid online by debit/credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard.
2. On account: contact the Catering Manager catering@ripedeli.co.nz or call us on 09 360-6159 to apply.  On account customers pay monthly. 
All prices include GST.

AMENDING AND CANCELLING ORDERS:

Can I amend my order?
To amend an order please contact the Catering Manager catering@ripedeli.co.nz / 09 360-6159.  

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery or pick will incur a charge of 50% of the total amount ordered. To cancel an order please contact the Catering Manager catering@ripedeli.co.nz / 09 360-6159.

OUR COOKBOOKS:

How much is the delivery fee for the Ripe cookbooks?
New Zealand: Rates are $8 Auckland (2 books max)/Any town or City outside Auckland $10/Rural Delivery $15/3 to 4 books or the Box Set $25

Australia: please order through Beatnik Publishing www.beatnikpublishing.co.nz. we have a lovely deal through Beatnik our publisher who will ship it to Australia for you.   

UK & Europe: Prestel UK is our distributor in the UK, please ask your local bookshop to contact them for a copy. Alternatively, place your order via www.amazon.co.uk
