Are you able to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies?

Does Ripe use Free Range eggs and meat?
Yes - We only use fresh seasonal produce and free-range, free-farmed meat and eggs.
Will all products always be available if shown online?
As with all fresh produce, availability can fluctuate due to seasonality of goods and changing weather. Unfortunately this is beyond our control. If something is unavailable we will replace it with something similar.
Are the serving platters, cups and utensils compostable?
Yes - All packaging is compostable or recyclable.
Catering food platters are served on bamboo platters. All other food comes in boxes for you to plate up onto your own servingware. You are welcome to bring your own platters and bowls to our Richmond Rd store for us to serve your catering on.
Do napkins, plates and utensils come with my order?
Only with the 'Boxed Up To Go' menu, but you can order them at a small extra cost.
Can I order extra platters or utensils?
Yes - You can order bamboo platters, plates, serviettes & cutlery in the "Utensils & Servingware" section in the Catering drop down menu.
Catering size salads come in serving bowls - please be kind to the planet and return all used bowls to Ripe Deli - or our driver is happy to pick them up for you! Email email@example.com to arrange pick up.

Do you serve the same catering menu across all 3 of your Deli’s?
No - Our catering kitchen is based in our flagship store in Grey Lynn, all website orders are made there.
We have a similar reduced catering menu available from our Goodside store for Smales Farm residents, which we can deliver within the precinct for $10.

How much notice do you need when placing an order?
All orders require 48 hours notice. If you have a catering emergency please ring or email us and we will do our best to help.
What time will my order be delivered?
Monday to Friday
General catering: you can pick a delivery time between 7:30am and 2:30pm in the cart section of the website.
Freezer meals and Care Packages: will be delivered later in the day - between 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
Deliveries outside of these hours will incur a courier charge, please contact our Catering manager for a quote email@example.com / 09 360-6159.
What are pickup and delivery fee minimums?
There is no minimum spend for pickups. All deliveries require a $50 minimum spend plus a delivery fee.

Can frozen meals be cooked from frozen?
Yes - All frozen meals can be cooked from frozen, follow the instructions on the packaging.
How many people does a meal serve?
Serving sizes: Regular serves 2-3, Family serves 3-4
Can they be delivered?
Yes - Delivery is available Monday to Friday 12:30-3pm only
Once received place in freezer or in the refrigerator and consume within 24-48 hours. You can also place an order online or by phone and pick up them up from or store at Richmond Rd Grey Lynn.
What are your accepted forms of payment?
1. Prepaid online by debit/credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard.
2. On account: contact the Catering Manager email@example.com or call us on 09 360-6159 to apply. On account customers pay monthly.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 24-48 hours will incur no charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a charge of 30% of the total amount ordered. To cancel an order please contact the Catering Manager email@example.com / 09 360-6159.
How much is the delivery fee for the Ripe cookbooks?
New Zealand: Free delivery within New Zealand.
Australia: please order through Beatnik Publishing www.beatnikpublishing.co.nz. we have a lovely deal through Beatnik our publisher who will ship it to Australia for you.
